RELEASE WEEK! As you may (or may not) know, I write romantic suspense as Meli Raine. The books are *really really different* from my Julia Kent romantic comedies, which is why I use a different name.
A Shameless Little CON is a political thriller, romantic suspense that involves a wrongly-accused young woman, Jane, who is caught in a web of political intrigue, power, and… murder.
If you read my Harmless series (A Harmless Little Game, A Harmless Little Ruse, a Harmless Little Plan), the Shameless series stars Jane (Lindsay’s best friend) and Silas (Drew’s right-hand man). You do NOT have to have read the Harmless series to understand the Shameless series.
It’s a redemption story. It’s an enemies-to-lovers story.
And it’s twisty, gritty, and intense as hell. I love putting my brain into twisty romantic suspense mode. It’s a really neat change from my rom coms.
